Countdown to Seattle Peoples' Summit Against APEC

Saturday, July 29th: 8 am - 7 pm
at the University of Washington
Architecture Hall, Room 147

The Peoples' Summit will include a gathering to host discussions and make plans for regional and national organizing against APEC and other "free trade" bodies in the future. The weekend will also include an informal social event and a rally to protest the APEC ministerial meetings that will be beginning the same weekend in Seattle.

Host a Workshop

Host a workshop at the People's Counter Summit Against APEC to build a movement highlighting the struggles and resistance of workers, migrants, women, and many others in the face of corporate-government collusion. We are looking for workshops with broad themes of free trade impacts, anti-neoliberalism and mass organizing - feel free to get creative.
